You weren't exactly in a good mood at the moment, your mood was bitter and a bit grump, but then, now why are you in a bad mood?

It's simple, on the expedition. Levi saved your ass...Again.

You sighed, you had gotten too reckless with killing Titans, you had ran out of gas and would of fallen to the ground below if it wasn't for the fact the raven haired man appeared out of nowhere, killed three Titans and then took you up to a tree and out of reach, not only that, you had the biggest rant off him about your stupid recklessness, you couldn't stay angry with him, he was right, you were too reckless on that day, normally you weren't but on today's expedition you were.

But then again, you did watch your friend Peter get eaten by a Titan, so that's what trigger the recklessness, even the ride back to the wall he continued to scold you on your stupid behavior today. You didn't pay attention to it much, so you nodded as if you listened to him, relief washed over you when the wall came into view. You ignored the stare Levi gave you, you pushed down the urge to squirm under his gaze, you weren't in the mood, you needed to be alone for a while.

You gripped the reins on your horse until your knuckles went white, this was not the first time you had your ass saved, you had it saved from a group of men who jumped you, the second time was from another expedition and now this expedition, so third time the charm. You scowled slightly, the funny thing was, Levi was the one who saved you...All three of the times.

You breathed out slowly, you needed to return the favour somehow, but how can you do that? You didn't know how to but you just had to, three times he saved your ass, three damn times, you needed to at least return the favour once.

You said nothing as the wall got closer and the gate began to open, you mentally prepared for the smack to the cheek from Peter's mother and her ranting and how much she hated you and how much of an evil person you were.

You hated his mother, hated her with a passion.

Your mood got worse.

All had arrived into the safety of the wall, as soon as you got off your horse Peter's mother appeared and just like you predicted, smacked you and ranted and rambled at you. You retorted by yelling at her and calling her an 'Evil bitch.', your nerves had ran out there and then.

People knew you had a temper when your nerves ran out or when you were in a bad mood, and it was a combination of both, so that spelt disaster. You had stormed off with your horse before people could ask. In response your horse nuzzled you gently, sensing your stress, you couldn't help but smile, you and the horse you named Barton bonded immediately, with men he kicked, neighed and thrash his head violently, you had came along and somehow you calmed him down.

People were in awe you managed to do that, for some reason Barton preferred girls than boys and you had a feeling he was beaten when he was a colt by a male, out of all the girls you were the one he liked the most.

You reached the stables and took Barton in. you sighed and placed him into his stable and closed the door to keep him in. You smiled and patted his side as you walked off. Your hand immediately went your cheek and you then hissed in pain.

“Stupid bitch.” You growled as you walked out the stables.

“Bad day huh.”

You glanced to Eren. “Yeah, fan-fucking-tastic.”

You walked past him. “I need some tea.” You grumbled.

You paused to look at him. “You coming?”

The brunette said nothing and ran to catch up with you, not aware you both were being watched.

After having tea you felt much better, the stinging pain in your cheek long gone but your cheek was still red and sore, damn that woman can hit. You sighed and walked down the hall. Eren left a while back with Armin and Mikasa leaving you all alone. You ran your fingers through your fringe and carried on walking.

You rubbed the back of your neck, you could say you had a bad day, but then again, the day wasn't done yet, far from done. You groaned at the thought, you might as well get on with the day. You paused as you bumped into someone. You took a step back and then frowned to see who it was.

You muttered a 'sorry' and then wordlessly walked past Levi, you weren't in the mood for a confrontation. You rubbed the back of your neck again.

A sigh escaped your lips, maybe some sleep will help you.

You blinked and slowly opened your eyes, you had retreated to a roof and ended up sleeping there. You slowly sat up and then yawned as you stretched.

“Might as well head back.” You mumbled.

You stood up and placed your gear on you as you walked from the roof and went to head back to HQ.

You paused as you heard voices. You knelt down and silently listened to the conversation.

“It's that damn Corporal's fault!” Came a hiss. “And that bitch!”

You scowled, Peter's mother, if it was anyone to blame it was that Titan, you wondered if Peter got caught on purpose, with a mother like that you wouldn't be surprised.

“So what do you want me to do about it?” A male voice asked.

“Kill them both, I don't care how you do it.”

You said nothing and watch them go their separate ways. You followed the man since he was the most important one to follow.

You couldn't afford to fuck this up, your life and the life of another was on your shoulder, so messing up was the last thing you need.

You broke into a run when he began to run too. You had to keep following him.

You came to a stop as you began to pant. You had lost him and not only that, it was now evening.

“Where the hell have you been!?”

You paused and turned to face the speaker. You saw it was an irritated Levi with a concerned Eren and Armin. You said nothing and looked around.

“Needed some time alone.” You answered. “...And then I fell asleep.”

He sighed and then rubbed his face. “Idiot.”

You only shrugged, you were used to the insult. You walked to the three, adjusting your gear as you walked along. Should you tell them? Would they believe you? You rubbed the back of your neck but said nothing at all, you still hadn't returned the favour yet. You began to ponder of how to do that. You were snapped out of it when you spotted the man you followed...And he had a gun.

You knew he would also harm the brunette and the blonde since they were witnesses.

“Oh, you'll thank my later.” You mumbled.

You rushed forward, not slowing down when the bullet hit you. You hit him, knocking him to the ground and assumed he fell unconscious. You clutched your shoulder and turned to walk back.

“Y-You're bleeding.” Armin said.

“Yeah, I figured that.” You grunted.

“What was that about?” Eren asked you.

“Oh, just some guy hired to kill me and the corporal.” You answered, winching. “Peter's mother hired him.”

You didn't know what happened next, everything was a blur. The man who you thought was knocked unconscious had gotten to his feet and fired the gun again, but it wasn't aimed at you. You didn't remember anything after that, you hoped you shielded Levi, you must had done since you felt more pain and then blacking out, the last thing you remembered was your name being called and that was it.

Pain, the god forsaken pain, you could hear voices, you needed to wake up.

'Wake up for fucks sakes!' The rude part of your mind screamed.

You stirred and then fluttered your eyes open. You looked around and found yourself in the infirmary. You slowly sat up and then hissed as pain shot up your shoulder. You slumped and managed to sit up despite the pain you felt, even though you got shot you were satisfied you managed to return the favour, although it probably wasn't the best way to return the favour.

You looked around, but then did a double take. You bit your lip when you spotted Levi in a chair with his arms crossed, sleeping. You noticed the dark circles under his eyes, how long had he been awake waiting for you to wake up yourself? You felt bad, the question was, how long were you out for? You placed a hand on your forehead. The pain was damn painful.

But then again, you did get shot twice. Your hand hovered over the bandage. You looked around and rubbed the back of your neck. You heard the door open and a nurse stepped in, she looked surprise you woke but calmed down and approached you.

“How long was I out for?” You whispered, not loud enough to wake the sleeping male.

“Three days.” She answered quietly.

You looked at her in disbelief, three days, you were out for three damn days!?

“The corporal hasn't left since, well, he did leave once or twice, only because the commander forced him to, he hasn't slept since you arrived here.”

You felt even more bad now that she had said that, you didn't mean to make him worry. You glanced to him with a small frown. You then glanced back to the nurse and gave a small nod. She walked past and gently nudged him. You were startled when he jolted awake. He glared at her retreating form and then grumbled.

You said nothing but watched as he glanced to you. You gulped to see he gave to a glare, a not so friendly glare.

“You idiot!” He hissed as you shrank. “You damn idiot!”

“S-Sorry.” You squeaked.

To your surprise he cupped your cheeks

“Don't you do that shit again.”

Before you could say anything he pressed his lips against yours. You were shocked, you had no idea he liked you that much. You returned it, ignoring the pain.

“Why the hell did you do that for!?” Levi asked, after pulling away that is.

“...I wanted to return the favour.” You admitted.

“Well it's a stupid way to return the favour!”

You said nothing, then a thought hit you.

“What about the shooter?” You asked.

“Rotting away in jail.”

“And the woman who hired him?”

“Same as that asshole, they both should be lucky I didn't throw them off wall Rose.”

You were relived they were in jail. You squeaked when he picked you up, the blanket still on you. He scowled and you tossed the cover onto the bed, now satisfied he walked off. The nurse opened the door and watched as he walked off with you in his arms, she said nothing nor protested, instead she smiled.

She didn't stop them, she didn't bother, she couldn't stop smiling. She giggled instead.

You woke slightly when you were moved slightly. You blinked the sleep when you found yourself on a bed. You said nothing and looked to the ceiling.

“Next time you want to return the favour, don't do something stupid like that again.”

You said nothing and closed your eyes. “I won't.”

“I hope not.”

You said nothing after that and continued to have your eyes closed, your shoulder throbbed in pain but it wasn't that bad now. You yawned and shifted, you didn't feel that you were out for the count for three days, you were still tired for some reason.

You felt the bed dip. You turned onto your side, just in time to feel yourself being dragged towards Levi. You didn't protest.

“Don't you scare me like that again!” He growled.

“I didn't mean to.”

You closed your eyes and fell into a sleep. You heard him mutter 'lovely idiot' before he joined you in the sleep.
